Some days nothing happens, and then come the days were everything happens. This was the case this past Monday were I had Emiliana´s Flamenco open class and Alessia´s gym open class... Ale´s class was at 2:30, and Emi´s at 4, so I went picked Emi up around noon, got home put some make up on her and did her hair, then ran to get Ale at school and help her get ready too. Miraculously we were on time at the Gym, and I was able to get by 4 at Emi´s class.
Ale´s class was a hit, all my pictures were blurry but I did manage to film her... I think I need to improve my sports picture taking techniques....
I did a better job photographing Emi, but again... blurry and grainy pictures....
This is the kind of happiness that only dance and friends can give!
So that is a wrap for Flamenco and Gym until January, for now school until friday, and afternoons free to enjoy home and Caracas´ bright blue December days.
At home the girls wrote their letter to Baby Jesus (here in Venezuela comes Santa and Baby Jesus, but the one that brings present Christmas morning is Baby Jesus). This is one of those Christmas surprises that will stay with me forever. I did not the girls were doing, and then I hear music, I go to the living room to find the three of them as concentrated as can be writing their letters.... isn´t this sight what us moms strive for everyday?? I just marble at how in this crazy world we live in, children will always be children, and their innocence and their happiness the best lesson we can learn each day.
Ari and her new found friends the nutcrackers are inseparable! They are supposed to be underneath the tree... I gave up!
