Christmas came and went, and left us again with our hearts bigger and fuller, and our families stronger because we have more memories of happy children, and sleepy babies with xmas pjs, and wishes easily fulfilled. I have come to think that all the glitter, twinkly lights, candles, and pretty outfits are so, so we can create beautiful images to last forever in our hearts, in the story of our lives. So with only a few hours left of 2014 I am happy to have another year of memories tucked in the right place. And as I look through the pictures of my girls I feel content and grateful for being able to witness and create magic and wide eyed wonder for them! Sometimes people as close as my husband don't understand why am always in a contenplating mood... Or why it is that nothing really bothers me, and it is not that am always happy because really no one is, is just that at this point in my life I have come to realize that life is not about big major events, or amazing destinations, or dramas or God forbid tragedy, life is about all those little insignificant stories that make our everyday life. And as long as I am able to see them and be grateful I will be happy and hence give happiness to those around me.
Here are pieces of our Christmas.... Christmas eve is always perfect with our very own super real Santa Claus!!! He has visited our family since I was about two, and has never missed a visit! I thought he looked like my dad when I was little... Now the girls think so too.... Haha I think they are just plain crazy!!!!
All pics are from my iphone since we are currently visiting family in florida and am blogging from my phone!
Christmas morning, a thousand new toys, dreams fulfillee, happy kids, christmas carols, coffee, tired parents, it doesn't get any better!
